NBC POLITICAL DIRECTOR CHUCK TODD TO BE FEATURED ON “INSIDE GOVERNMENT”

Washington Post National Political Reporter to Also Discuss Experiences Traveling With Presidential Candidate

WASHINGTONChuck Todd, NBC’s political director, will be featured this week on the American Federation of Government Employees’ (AFGE) radio program “Inside Government.” Todd will discuss potential vice presidential candidates for Sens. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) and John McCain (R-Ariz.), the U.S. energy policy, and the economy as the top issue in the upcoming presidential election. Also hear from Michael Shear, national political reporter for The Washington Post, as he describes life on the road covering McCain’s bid for the White House. Shear will also discuss the oil drilling issue and its role in the presidential election, as well as how the candidates handle accusations of flip-flopping. The show will air on Friday, July 25 at 10:00 a.m. ET nationwide on www.federalnewsradio.com and 1050 AM in the Washington, D.C., area.

“Inside Government” is a one-hour weekly nationwide radio/Internet program dedicated to issues that impact all federal and D.C. government employees. In launching “Inside Government,” AFGE became one of the first unions and the only federal workers’ union to have a national broadcast program on the air.
